I have entered this one few days back at 49/- It is going to be the indian reply to global behemoths in Merger & Acquisitions ( Investment Banking) space like Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch. It was the top Indian Investment banker last year. I will post the detail study after our annual account closing and audit is over in Apr-15. I'll be free in May-15.

Today Price is around 50/-

    1. Sir..promoter's stake is very Healthy at 66% as per their latest exchange fillings. it is down from 68% in sep-14. However it is not because promoters are selling...Number of shares held by them is still 517789265. But their stake is falling as they are issuing new shares to a group of investors, warrents are getting converted into shares, employee stock options are also being allotted...all these are diluting promoter's stake. But total Promoter and institutional shareholding in the group is very high at 86%...Public holding is very low at 14%.

So nothing to worry here...go ahead if you are planning to buy.

  3. Hi Gurpreet , If you have some time now , Could you please throw some light on the monsoons impact on venkys india ?

  4. Sir, Monsoon can impact Venky's in a big way since Maize/Corn are its major raw material...prices of these can vary per se with monsoon. Any adverse moment in the prices of these can affect venky's adversely since the pricing power in non branded Chicken sector is very limited due to Demand Supply mismatch in most part of a year.

But Venky's is diversifying well to mitigate these shocks...it is moving big into processed chicken, retail chain XPRS. indians are also finding a flavour for branded chicken which are well bred and hormone free. So one needs to be patient with venky's...it is one for the long haul.

    1. Thanks Dear....I was about to post a study on JM but i was so convinced with its business model that i did not even completed the final study. It is one of india's best managed NBFC. Apart from NBFC, its equity brokerage business will see huge growth as more indians will put their savings into market (Financial assets) rather than low income FD and high valued real estate.

I have sent some bits regarding this via emails to some of readers of this Blog. we have bought this at every fall.

But someday will post a final study on this.
